My heart goes to the victim of yet another senseless death.
Cris Anthony Mendez had a very promising life ahead of him but it was shattered by the brutality of the people who thought that in order for someone to be a part of their prestigious organization, one has to undergo the needle of death. I can't believe that after numerous meaningless demise of students because of hazing, it's still prevalent in our country. How many more of these will happen just for us to realize that it should stop. Who's at fault here?
This is something that I can't simply condone. I hope justice will be served to him. I hope someone will make a difference and give our justice system a whole new meaning.
